General arrangements
The tenant can take advantage no in no event of a some law for the preservation in places at the expiration of the period of rent initially planned on the present contract, except agreement of the owner. Any modification will be accepted in the drafting of the contract without the agreement of both parts.
Payment
For any booking of a maximum period of week, an imprint credit card will be made to guarantee the booking. The owner can then take an advance of 30 % of the amount of the stay. This imprint will also serve as guarantee in case of theft or of damages caused during the stay. The balance of the stay will be paid at first.
For the stays superior to a week until month, will be asked an advance of 30 % of the amount of the stay, and , at the beginning of every week, the payment of this period.
For the stays over several months, the payment of month will be asked at the beginning of each of these periods.
For business stay, the confirmation by mail, fax or letter will be necessary.
For a touristic stay at less of one week, the booking will become actual since the tenant will have returned a copy of the present contract accompanied with amount of the advance or imprint credit card, before date indicated on the contract.
If the tenant delays his arrival, he has to inform beforehand the owner who will do his best to satisfay him. If such is impossible, the change shall be deemed to be a cancellation by the client and the cancellation fees shall aplly under the terms established below.
Use of places
The tenant will enjoy the rent in a peaceful way and will make good custom according to the destination of places.
Any repairs, whatever is the importance, made necessary by the carelessness of the tenant in the course of rent will be at his expense.
The rent can benefit on no account in thirds, except preliminary agreement of the owner.
The subletting is forbidden the buyer, whatever pretext it is, even for free, at the risk of termination of contract. The complete amount of the acquired remaining rent of due to the owner.
The rented premises are for custom of temporary house or holidays, excluding any professional, commercial or home-made activity whatever nature it is.
The owner will supply the accommodation in compliance with the description which he made and will maintain it in in good condition to serve. As a general rule, the tenant leaves places at the hour foreseen to the contract or at one o’clock being convenient for the owner, after inventory of fixtures.
Particular cases
The number of tenants cannot be superior to the maximum accommodation facilities indicated on the catalog or the descriptive state. Exceptionally, and subject to the agreement of the owner, he can be broken this rule. In that case, the owner will be entitled to perceive a price increase which must be beforehand communicated to the tenant and recorded on the rental agreement.
State of premises
The appartment is fully equipped with dishware, flatware, sheets and shower linen. Upon arrival, the client shall, in his own interest, inspect the state of premises and the inventory as well as the proper functioning of the domestic and bathroom appliances. He must check and advice the owner of any missing items within 48 hours. No subsequent request will be accepted.

Terms of cancellation
In the event of cancellation by the client, the administrative fees are retained by the owner. A billing for indemnification will be calculated on the total amount of the reserved stay, according to the following scale :
For a stay of at less 7 nights :
- more than 29 days before arrival : refund of instalment
- 7 to 29 days before arrival : amount of the instalment retained
- 2 to 6 days before arrival : 75 %
- 1 day before arrival : 100%
For a stay of 1 to 6 nights :
- more than 7 days before arrival : refund of instalment
- 2 to 6 nights before arrival : 30 %
- 1 day before arrival (or no-show) : 100 % except if the owner can rent again the apartment.
Interruption of stay
The client shall not claim any indemnity or refund if he shortens or interrupts his stay for any reason whatsoever, including strike, repatriation on medical grounds and other event of force majeure. See the chapter “Terms of cancellation”.
Insurance
For your security and to benefit of your stay, we strongly recommend that you take an insurance policy. Your cover : cancellation, civil liability, interruption of stay, serious damages to your appartment…
Jurisdiction
If complaint, the parties designate domicile in Cherbourg, with attribution of jurisdiction to the Cherbourg District Court or Regional Court.
